Tell us about your love story: Hunter and I met at work where we became quick friends and you know the rest! He proposed at the place where we started officially dating, but made me think we were going there before a fancy dinner with friends to “check out the remodeling his company is doing in the building”. I had absolutely no inclination of what was happening - so it was a total surprise!
His reaction to me in my wedding dress was totally speechless, but later said it was very beautiful and timeless.

Words of advice for future brides: Soak in every moment and take all the photos and videos, it goes by so fast!

The BIG day: December 7th, 2024

Tell us about your love story: Noah and I met at previous jobs, where I actually interviewed him and made a comment about how he was really charming and I thought he would be a great fit for the team. We were coworkers first, and over a 5 month period we slowly became friends. That friendship slowly made us realized there might be something more. Noah will say I made the first move, and I stand firm that he made the first move. Regardless of how it happened, it was amazing to fall in love with someone who instantly felt like my safe space. We dated for about 2 years and then Noah proposed. I was down in Florida with my parents, and I thought Noah was in Indiana working and taking care of our dog. He sneakily flew down to Florida and surprised me by standing in front of the otter den at the Mote Aquarium, where my parents were there to watch. Noah is not much of a cryer, so I was nervous he wouldn't cry on our wedding day. The second he turned around and saw me in my dress he started crying. He told me my dress was as dramatic as I am (which is true) and it was better than he could have ever imagined.

Words of advice for future brides: Find a few small details that are meaningful to you and your spouse and incorporate them into your day. It was so meaningful to have some easter eggs scattered into our wedding that people could find. For example, we got engaged in front of an otter den at an aquarium, because otters are my favorite animal, and we call each other our "significant otter". So our cake toppers were otters and everyone who knew our story really loved that little feature.

Share about your TWS experience: I thought I knew what type of wedding dress I wanted, but then I was scrolling through the instagram of The Wedding Studio Greenwood and I saw this one dress that I instantly knew was going to be the one. I told my stylist ahead of time what style I thought I wanted, but also mentioned there was the one dress I couldn't get out of my head that I had to try on. She had that dress waiting for me and had me try it on first. Before she even finished putting it on me I was sobbing. We tried on a few dresses after in the style I thought I wanted to be sure I wanted this first dress, but ultimately, that dress was just too perfect and it seemed like it was made for me. I had my closest friends and family with me and it was just the perfect day!

Share a special moment(s) from your big day: Our dog, Mackey, is a big part of our love story. I specifically chose my wedding venue because they were so dog friendly. Mackey got to be out of his cage and hanging out with my husband and all of the groomsmen all morning, and his presence really helped calm me. We had a custom fitted tuxedo made which matched my husband and he looked so handsome in it. We tried to involve Mackey as much as we could, he was there for our first kiss and he walked down the aisle with us as we were officially announced husband and wife. My favorite moment with him was when we did our cake cutting. My husband and I fed each other a small piece of cake, and then we smashed the cake in Mackey's which he LOVED!

The BIG day: August 17, 2024

Tell us about your love story: Colin and I are a proud Tinder success story haha! While back home from Ball State and Michigan State for the summer of our senior years, we connected on Tinder and feel so blessed that we did because we truly don’t know how we would have ever crossed paths without it!

Colin proposed after 5 years of dating at his parent’s beautiful property. We had camped out on the property the night before, enjoying a wonderful, slow evening together. The next morning we woke up to take a sunrise walk around the pond behind his parent’s house. Towards the end of the walk, we walked up towards a hill that overlooks the property. A little bench sits on this hill. Colin reached under the bench and pulled out the ring box! I was truly shocked. Moments later, both of our parents and siblings popped out from their patio cheering and crying! They had watched the whole thing, it was truly so special.

Colin is not a crier but I think his eyes popped out of his head when he saw me in my gown!

Words of advice for future brides: Soak in every single moment, even the littlest ones. You’re having such a blast every single second that you don’t realize just how fast the day is going. Take some time to look around at the people who have come to cherish this beautiful day with you and your husband.

Share about your TWS experience: I worked with Anna and she made me feel like an absolute model. She knew my vision of a dress from the moment I described my wedding plans. I never felt any pressure or stress with making a decision. I seriously wish I could stand in that beautiful dressing room and try on dresses every day!

Share a special moment(s) from your big day: Right before our outdoor ceremony, out of nowhere, a pretty strong rainstorm popped up. For a minute, my heart sank and I really thought our plans were going to have to completely shift and that we would have to adjust to an indoor ceremony. The love and support of my bridal party, family, and coordinator told me to go with my heart and still do the ceremony outside as planned. It drizzled for the first 10-15 minutes of the ceremony but not enough to be uncomfortable. By the time, Colin and I got to our vows, the rain came to a stop and the sun came back out turning into a beautiful evening. It really felt like a scene out of a movie, I will never forget that moment.

Tell us about your love story: Nick and I met at Purdue almost 7 years ago, and have been together for over 6 years. He was Purdue Pete and one of my friends introduced us, and we went to a fraternity Christmas semi-formal together on our first date. Nick proposed on the white river bridge August of 2022, and had a surprise party waiting for me in our brand new home downtown Indy with all the people we love.

Words of advice for future brides: Soak up the entire day, and spend as much time together with your partner as you can! Don't leave each others side the entire night so you can make all of the memories together.

Share about your TWS experience: I loved my experience at TWS. They really understood my vision for my big day and my dress, and let me try on so many options to make sure I chose the exact right dress for me. They cared about me finding the best dress for my big day, rather than just making a sale. The entire place is MAGICAL - and I am so glad I found my dress at TWS!

Share a special moment(s) from your big day: Everything was so special and perfect! Walking down the aisle was a moment I will never forget. Our first dance was so fun to do in front of everyone after practicing so much. I also did a fun dance with dad to Paper Rings!

The BIG day: September 13th, 2024

Tell us about your love story: My husband, Steven, and I met 7 years ago, in my opinion, by fate. I had applied for a part time job 6 months prior and never heard back. I was home for the summer and had a nannying job fall through and the same day this part time position called me 6 months later asking me if I still needed a job and that was where we met. I knew the minute I met him I would marry him.

Steven proposed in Nice in front of a waterfall, neither of us remember a word he said to me and I’m not sure I actually said yes just got excited and kissed him!!

Steven didn’t see me until I walked down the aisle and even though I spent the whole walk watching my feet I got to the top of the aisle and he was still crying. I look back at pictures from our photographer and the raw emotion this man felt makes me tear up every time I look at it

Words of advice for future brides: If you have any inclination to do something on your wedding day do it!!! I had a feeling I wanted to take my heels off and walk barefoot down the aisle but didn’t listen to myself and spent the whole walk looking at my feet instead of the man of my dreams (and our whole bridal party) crying at the top of the alter!

Share about your TWS experience: I tend to not enjoy shopping as a general rule so I was nervous when it came to wedding dress shopping. The second I walked into the wedding studio I felt welcome, I was never pushed to try something on outside my price range, I never felt rushed to wrap up on the hour. When I came back the second time with my bridal party and family the girls let me try on multiple dresses so everyone could have fun. When I found the one I felt celebrated even by the staff!

Share a special moment(s) from your big day: I opted out of a first look with my husband but instead did one with my dad and brothers, they were the first men I ever loved. We were on a landing between the main floor and second floor, so some of the groomsmen watched below while my bridal party, mom, step mom, and MIL watched above. None of them got all the way around before breaking into tears (as did I) when I looked out at everyone they were all in tears as well

Another moment I loved, in the bridal suite the windows over looked the lawn. Since I hadn’t seen my husband all day I looked out for a second and they were doing groomsmen portraits out there I just sat and watched them and started to cry purely out of joy that I got to marry the man of my dreams in a few hours, it’s a feeling I’ll never forget
